South Bruce Peninsula is host to a wide variety of unique events throughout the year, some events attracting visitors from around the globe. Each year Sauble Sandfest brings in professional, award-winning sandcastle sculpters to create designs that are out of this world! Wiarton Willie draws the attention of thousands who in February, tune in to see if there will be an early spring or six more weeks of winter. Adventure races, movie nights, car shows, street dances, fish derbys, fairs and musical festivals are just some of the many events that take place all year long.

In order to assist you with obtaining the necessary permits and services, please review the Special Event Guidelines and complete the Special Events Application.
Completed applications can be submitted to Karen Neerhof, Recreation Programmer:
at least ninety (90) days prior to your event if your event is taking place for the first time or has significantly changed.
at least sixty (60) days prior to your event if your event is an annual event and has no significant changes.
Please be advised that certain activities must be approved by the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Failure to submit your application on time could result in the event not receiving approval.
