'We were not even remotely thinking about making exterior investments to the building since we have only owned the building a year this November and have already spent a lot on the building and the business.
If it was not for the grant, together with the support of our municipality to help with the design, we would NOT have done it. The grant did not replace the cost for us rather it enabled us to do the absolute best exterior makeover possible and not just a band aid fix.
WOW what a great decision, we have had so many people actually stop us on the street, in shops, call and email us to say how much they like it and I honestly think they feel proud because, after all this is their downtown!!!!
