Wiarton Farmers' Market
The second season of the Wiarton Farmers' began its new location at the Old Train Station Pavillion in Bluewater Park.

With twice as many vendors as the previous year, you could find all of your favorites—Dale's Baking, Stoney Keppel Bison, Ackroyd's Honey, Maple Ridge Syrup, Canterbury's Soaps, Rising Sun Bakery, Curry in a Hurry, and Cottage Country North jams and preserves—as well as many new vendors including April Dubois Pottery, Womb to World Whimsical Wearables, and Wicked Good fudge and beeswax candles.

We also have several local growers providing wide array of vegetables, herbs, cut flowers and fresh eggs throughout the season including Chris Blakely Organics, Persephone Gardens, Hannas Organics, Lindenwood Gardens, and Fresh produce and bakery. The Wiarton highschool Market garden headed up by Trevor Gilbert has also prepared plots of vegetables for Market, thanks to help from the New Growers' Program of the Local Food Project.

The Farmers' Market will be back again in May 2010.  Stay tuned for even more vendors and more fun!
