Our third season of the Wiarton Farmers' Market got off to a fine start with live music by Horsefeathers! the accomplished accordion and  mandolin duo, and a special sampler event with all of your favorite local food producers.  The two newest vendors added our roster of bakers, growers, jam makers, chefs and artisans include Garden In Thyme organic vegetable growers from Lion's Head, and Lahman's heirloom produce and organic goat meat of Tara.  Our fifteen full-season vendors offer the best of local produce from honey and maple syrup to fresh veggies and meats, and a revolving door of local artisans bring you an ever-changing variety of photography, jewellery, beeswax candles, clothing and artwork.

Come, get to know your farmers, and make Friday afternoons the highlight of your week.  We've got something for everyone from hot samosas to fresh-popped maple pop corn, organic eggs to blueberry pies, homemade jam to summer sausage, fresh bread to Castile soap, garden fresh veggies to handmade jewellery.  This great variety of local vendors makes a lively market we're proud to call our own.
