Sessions are 90 minutes, and each game is 12 minutes. Courts are rotated using a numerical play system, based on the number of players in the session.
It is recommended that each player arrives 5-10 minutes prior to their session to warm up.
Players must bring clean indoor shoes (not worn from the parking lot to the building) and their own paddle. Eye protection is recommended.
Pickleballs are provided for indoor play.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has 3 indoor facilities for pickleball: Sauble Beach Community Centre -2 courts (year round), Amabel Sauble Community School -3 courts (September to June), Peninsula Shores District School -4 courts (September to June)

Levels of Play

A game will also be cancelled if there are not enough players for a game. It is pre-set to cancel if there are fewer than 4 players for a session. You will receive notice of cancellation by email or text, depending on the communication setting you have chosen. There is no fee charged for a session that is cancelled due to low enrollment.

The Town may also cancel a session due to inclement weather or a facility closure. There will be no fee charged for a session that is cancelled by the Town.

Waitlist

If a session is full, you may choose to be added to a waitlist. If a spot opens everyone on the waitlist will be notified by Pickup Hub at the same time. The spot is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The player who responds first and accept the opening in Pickup Hub will be added to the roster.
