Contract Opportunities (Immediate Start Date)
Facility Attendant ($18.54-$19.29) |
Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, the Facility Attendant responsibilities include opening and closing of facilities, ensuring capacity limits are adhered to, assisting with rental needs and requirements as directed, light cleaning and program facilitation. Typically the facility attendant will work out of the Sauble Beach Community Centre located at 30 Community Centre Dr., Sauble Beach. Hours are flexible and up to 44 hours per week.

Beach and Bylaw Enforcement Officer ($22.99 to $24.88) |
Beach and By-Law Enforcement Offices are responsible for the enforcement of Town by-laws on the beach at Sauble Beach, troubleshooting and assisting with the operation of the Paid Parking machines and for the enforcement of parking regulations in parking lots and on streets at Sauble Beach. Officers must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time over variable surfaces and in variable weather conditions. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Campground Attendant ($14.83-$16.05) |
The Campground Attendant receives and processes seasonal and overnight campground bookings; input bookings into the computer; collect and deposit payments with documentation for campsites, firewood, dumping station and other miscellaneous items; daily site checks; site maintenance; answers phone/walk-in inquiries; general maintenance and cleaning of Train Station and immediate outdoors; operate awnings for pavilion; provides history/background of Wiarton Train Station; catalogues inventory of artifacts; changes exhibits. Qualifications: Must have general knowledge of the Bluewater Park Campground, Wiarton Train Station and area. Parks Attendant ($14.83-$16.05) |
The Parks Attendant responsibilities include watering plants, grass cutting, and other maintenance duties. Qualifications: Must be able to work outdoors with some light physical activity; must have a minimum Ontario G2 Driver’s License with a clear driving record. Being able to operate small equipment an asset. Horticulture work related experience preferred.
