Whether you are looking for a perfect place to hold a meeting, wedding, picnic or other special event, or just looking for a place to let the kids run around, South Bruce Peninsula has many facilities and fields to choose from. Find out more about the different venues and what they have to offer below.

Ball Diamonds

The Town is home to four municipally owned ball diamonds with two located in Wiarton, one in Sauble Beach and one in Hepworth.

  • All bartenders must be approved by Facilities Coordinator

  • Liability insurance required for all licensed events

  • Anyone playing music (iPad, cell phone, bands, etc.) must pay Entandem (licenses for SOCAN - Society of Composers, Authors & Music Publishers of Canada and Re:Sound) – licensing tax that is passed onto users

  • Deposit due at time of reservation – 50% deposit required for larger events – full amount for meetings

  • Renter to contact Facilities Coordinator to arrange time for set up and tear down

  • Weddings/Buck & Doe may be able to set up afternoon before and morning after rental (arrange with Facilities Coordinator) if available

  • Staff will set up tables and chairs once set-up provided by renter

  • Renter responsible for set up and tear down of all decorations
