South Bruce Peninsula's Recreation and Culture Departments is seeking a Facility Attendant. This is a Permanent Part-Time position. The position reports to the Facilities Supervisor and Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture. Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications for the position. The Facility Attendant will be scheduled to work in the Wiarton Arena, Sauble Beach Community Centre and other Municipal facilities including parks. Temporary Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator |

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula’s Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Temporary Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator for the upcoming winter season. Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications for the position. The Temporary Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in various capacities throughout the Town. Hours of work will be a minimum of 80 hours over a two-week period. Start and stopping times may vary during the season of the year or as necessary to fulfil the Employer’s obligation in providing approved service levels and seasonal maintenance. The successful applicant will start work as soon as possible. The work term will conclude March 31, 2026, but the term may be extended if required. Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Class D/Z license. Experience, knowledge, and training related to all aspects of Public Works employee responsibilities, particularly snowplow operations and duties of a winter patrol person, as well as basic landfill operation, is preferred. Temporary Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator |

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula’s Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator for the upcoming winter season. Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications for the position. The Temporary Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and providing manual labour to maintain roadways, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains and other Town-owned structures and facilities, as well as providing winter patrol to call out plows, as necessary. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will primarily perform the duties of winter patrol, with both night and day shifts. As the position is part time, hours are not guaranteed, however they could be as many as 40 hours per week. Start and stopping times may vary during the season of the year or as necessary to fulfil the Employer’s obligation in providing approved service levels and seasonal maintenance. The successful applicant will start work as soon as possible. The work term will conclude March 31, 2025, but the term may be extended if required.
