South Bruce Peninsula has a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities which are host to a number of year-round recreation programs. 

There are also many community organizations which offer activities for the community to enjoy.
Art (Printmaking)
Napkin Printmaking Workshop
Join Michelle Minke for this 2-hour printmaking workshop where you will create 4 of your own napkins using relief block printing technique.
In this workshop, you will use tools to carve into a soft, flexible medium and create a design that you can print onto a cotton napkin.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in!

Fitness (80's Groove)

Get fit with us! Fitness classes with Steph Miller will be offered at the Wiarton Community Centre and Arena in the Auditorium each Wednesday.

80s Groove

5pm, WCC Auditorium, 55+

Stay active with rocking music from the 80s and 90s, using bands and cardio! Great for everyone but created with seniors and beginners in mind!

Sauble Beach Pickleball takes place at the Sauble Beach Community Centre on the following dates:

Annual pass also includes outdoor play. No drop-ins.

Learn real, transferrable skills in this 4 week program where you will hear a short educational talk from Dr. Larry Schmidt, accompanied by a cooking class with Chef Dori. Spend your Mondays learning general culinary skills and how to practically introduce more healthy options into your diet, while having fun (and being fed) in the process!

Therapeutic Horticulture Programs with Amy Petersen, HRT in Wiarton and Sauble

Join us this winter for Horticulture Therapy workshops where you will be invited to connect with nature in meaningful ways through the 5 senses. Register for all sessions, or select what workshops interest you most. Each one will offer a unique experience that will bring you closer to the natural environment and support your social, emotional, mental and physical health and wellbeing.

This class includes mostly slow repetitive movements on the mat to loosen up connective tissue, breath work, and practice restorative poses to gradually stretch the muscles for gaining optimal range of motion.
