Back to SearchDue to poor weather conditions and visibility issues, Waste Management was unable to complete portions of Tuesday's garbage collection and will return to the area on Thursday, January 29, 2026, to collect remaining materials.
The roads that were missed were north of Wiarton, mainly Highway 6 and roads off the highway including: Beckons Lane, Birch Lane, Mar Sideroad, Lawrence Rd, Limberlost Rd, the Bury Rd, Howdenvale Rd (from Highway 6 to Daddy Weir Rd), Daddy Weir Rd, Skyview Dr, Red Bay Rd, Weir's Rd, and Greig Settlement Rd.
Please bring in your garbage to prevent it getting buried by plow operations and place it back out on Thursday morning. Residents are reminded that garbage must be placed curbside by 7:00 am to ensure collection.
