The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is once again seeking community participation as it moves into Phase 2 of the Sauble Beach brand project.
After collecting and analyzing perceptions of the local identity and aspirations for Sauble’s future, the project team has developed three concepts for a visual brand refresh, each embodying key themes that emerged from Phase 1 engagement initiatives.

Now, the Town is inviting feedback from residents, businesses, and visitors to test whether the story each is meant to tell comes through effectively and to measure how each concept resonates.
“We are grateful that the community showed up over the past two months to share their perspectives about Sauble Beach, the brand, and the future,” says South Bruce Peninsula Mayor Jay Kirkland. “This insight is what informed and inspired these three new brand concepts, which capture different sides of Sauble’s unique character. One of these will set the tone for placemaking, branding, and communications efforts going forward, so we encourage everyone to have their say and share what option they think best reflects who we are.”
Community members are encouraged to participate in the Phase 2 Survey, available at this link.
It will remain open for public participation until May 25, and results will inform the final direction for the Sauble Beach Destination Marketing, Branding and Economic Positioning Strategy.
“This project has always been about reflecting the community’s identity and values as we define Sauble Beach’s economic position and what draws visitors, investors, new businesses, and new residents,” says Danielle Edwards, Manager of Economic Development and Communications. “Meaningful engagement helped to unearth what differentiates this community, and we’re excited to now hear from locals about what this looks like in practice, from a visual brand perspective.”
